Now is the time to nominate the Chair of the Archives Committee. Nominate by filling in the form further down the page. The service post will be appointed at the Area Meeting on August 27, 2022, which takes place at the Sweden Convention in Borlänge. The nominees must be consulted and are recommended to attend the meeting.

Chairman of the Archives Committee

This is a new Service Position in CA Sweden.

The service assignment involves the following:

• Coordinate all committee business such as scanning, photographing, organizing, displaying the archive, returning materials to members versus long-term storage.

• Participate and report at area meetings.

• Ensure communication between the committee, districts and areas.

• Voting rights on topical issues at area meetings.

Desirable knowledge and qualities:

• Knowledge of the traditions, wsm and Roberts rules of order.

• Practical knowledge of the policy, procedures and guidelines of the Archives Committee (except for the First Chair).

• Structured, organized, thorough and responsible.

• 1 year of active service on the Archives Committee (excluding the first Chair for which this call is open).

Other:

The first chair or interim chair must also develop a statement of purpose and a draft budget.

This is presented by the President at his first Area Meeting.

Desirable minimum sober time: 1 year.

Length of service assignment: 2 years.
