Cocaine fucking Carnival! Let's goooo!
Since beginning of time or as long as we can remember (read 2006) – we – a bunch of recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, have come together once a year to celebrate that we are no longer suffering. We celebrate that we have found a common solution to our problem. We are no longer stuck in the painful clutches of addiction.

We want you to show up, we want to meet you and exchange experiences, hear your story and laugh about our past.
In 2006, we called the convention Taking Care of Business. This year we say COCAINE CARNIVAL!
What do we mean by the name Cocaine Carnival and how did it come about?
Cocaine Carnival embodies a vision, an experience, and is our perspective on the fellowship. The name was born in a parking lot in Borlänge, brought to the local pizzeria, presented at the CA's annual retreat and received a standing ovation.
We see CA's fellowship as one big carnival that goes from city to city, from meeting to meeting, from year to year. A carnival that brings laughter, joy, happiness, faith, hope and courage. Catching the addict who still suffers along the way and sending him or her into our new life. Some of us describe it as a fourth dimension and some of us describe it as COCAINE FUCKING CARNIVAL!

The convention starts on Friday, September 6 at 16.00 and ends on Sunday, September 8 at 14.30 at Quality Hotel Galaxen in Borlänge. Everyone is welcome, even if you are a relative or just curious.
Schedule
We will have a packed program of speakers, workshops, meetings, parties and fellowship. The detailed schedule for the convention will be published here as soon as it is finalized!

Charges are made on arrival, no money is deducted before then. Cancellation must be made no later than the day before arrival.

Registration (entrance fee): 200 kr
Registration + banquet (three-course dinner): 700 kr
Banquet supplement: 600 kr (for those who have already paid registration)
Cancellation policy
You can cancel your registration and banquet until August 30 and get a full refund, but we suggest you donate them to a newcomer if you can! Donate or cancel by emailing sverigekonventet@ca-sweden.se.
Do you find it difficult to pay to go to a convention?
Our approach is that everyone should be able to participate in the CA's convention! Those who have difficulty paying for registration are still welcome. Banquets are distributed according to donations received. If you wish to show interest in the donated banquets, please email sverigekonventet@ca-sweden.se.

You can also donate any amount to the 2024 Sweden Convention via Swish.
We only accept donations from CA members and CA meeting groups. In accordance with the 7th tradition of CA, we are self-sufficient through our own voluntary contributions and we do not accept external financial support.
If you are organizing a fundraiser for the 2024 Sweden Convention, you can download an A4 printout with a swish number and QR code where donations go directly to the Sweden Convention account.
