Who can donate?
Donations are accepted by CA members and CA meeting groups. In the spirit of CA's 7th tradition, we are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions, declining outside contribution.
How does CA use the money?
CA Sweden uses the money to help groups start new CA meetings, organize conventions and pay for expenses in various service committees (e.g. costs for web services and the rental of meeting rooms for committees). The money donated from our members and meeting groups enables CA's service organization to function so that we can continue to grow and carry the message of recovery. CA in Sweden has no employees and no one is paid for work. All work carried out within CA in Sweden is done through voluntary service from CA members.
CA Sweden also donates larger surpluses to CA World who helps start more CA meetings around the world. CA World has a few employees who are paid for their work.
How is CA's economy managed?
CA Sweden has a chair and a treasurer who is part of CASSO (Cocaine Anonymous Service Organisation) and together are responsible for managing CA Sweden's economy. They report the financial position to the rest of the CA fellowship, usually at area meetings.
