Tips for starting a CA meeting!
1. Find a venue
Where are there similar meetings today? Check out where associations or other twelve-step groups have their meetings today. In your community there may be local managers who can be helpful. Please consult within the fellowship, often there's a member with more information on where there may be a venue that suit our purpose.
2. Find willingness to service
It takes very few people to start a meeting, two are enough if there is a willingness to be of service. It will usually be more fun and become a busy meeting if you are a service group with lots of members. Go to other meetings, post on CA's website or in other channels that you are looking for members to be of service.
3. Reach out
Set up posters, put flyers in waiting rooms, visit other meetings, publish an annonuncement on ca sweden.se. There are many ways to announce new meetings.
If you are in an area of Sweden where H&I is not established, contact them for a plan to visit local hospitals and institutions. You can reach CA's H&I committee by emailing s.o.i@ca-sweden.se.

4. Be patient
Starting a meeting is easy, it then takes patience to wait for the meeting to grow. If you live in a smaller town, there may be few people to attract. If you live in a larger city, there may be other meetings that occur at the same time. But it's important to be patient and not give up just because there are few members in the beginning.
A lot of the meetings that today attract 30+ people per meeting were initially small and fragile.
