You can reach CA's Press Contact by email, pi@ca-sweden.se. CA in Sweden has no office and no employees, but consists of recovering addicts in various meeting groups and committees. Since our members are anonymous, you will not find any personal contact information on this site.
Inquiries
Cocaine Anonymous (CA) welcomes all types of inquiries and is happy to cooperate with the media, provided that the requirement to preserve the anonymity of our members is met.
We refrain from participating in debates and are unable to respond to or express opinions on socio-political or medical issues and the like.
Individuals who identify themselves as members of CA are of course entitled to appear in the media without hiding their identity and answer any questions they wish, but not as members or representatives of CA, as this is not in line with our traditions. In such cases, CA should not be mentioned at all. We also do not provide contacts to interviewees in this context.
Our information policy is to share our collective experience with anyone who wants to know more about CA and the 12-step program. We are extremely grateful for any help we can get to reach more addicts.

Good to know for journalists
CA is a non-professional, non-profit twelve-step fellowship of addicts that helps each other become and stay sober. There are no membership costs or fees. According to CA's 7th tradition, we are self-supporting, declining outside contribution, which means that CA also does not burden the community with any costs.
CA is not a drug-specific fellowship — it's open to anyone who has a desire to stop using drugs and alcohol.
CA does not participate in public debates – we are not experts on medical, social or religious issues, nor do we have an opinion on these issues. But we have a unique experience of what it means to be addicted to drugs and alcohol and to recover from addiction. We have a solution that works long-term for us.
Anonymity Policy
One of the CA's most important traditions is anonymity.
We therefore ask all journalists to respect and maintain the anonymity of the recovering addicts who present themselves as members of our fellowship. This means that full names or photographs with identifiable persons should never be used in the media. Anonymity is a guarantee to our members and future members that their recovery is a private matter.
Of course, we welcome any publicity that does not violate anonymity and appreciates all the help from the press that we can get, to help CA grow and thus help more addicts.
