President of the Sweden Convention
The service assignment involves the following:
Call a practical meeting to announce the members of the Committee.
Set up a convention committee.
Be responsible for where, when and how the 2023 Sweden Convention will take place.
Attend all area meetings.
Recommendations for Convention Chairs:
Good knowledge of the Traditions.
Previous service assignments within CA, preferably experience from participation in previous conventions.
You should be structured.
Have an eye for economic issues.
Be able to lead the committee and also provide positive and constructive criticism.
Ability to delegate and ask for help.
Desirable minimum sober time: 1 year.
Length of service assignment: 1 year.
What is the Swedish Convention?
CA organizes a Sweden Convention once a year. The convention usually takes place over a weekend, from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. The schedule during the convention includes meetings, speakers, workshops and a banquet dinner with entertainment.
