Time to nominate for more service posts for Area! (27/4 2024, Q2)
It is now time to nominate a new Vice President of CASSO and President of Unity. Nominate by filling in the form further down the page. The service posts will be appointed at the Area Meeting on 27 April 2024. Nominees should be consulted and recommended to attend the Area Meeting.

Vice-President CASSO
Service missions involve the following:
Attending CASSO meetings
Participate and organize Area meetings
Is involved in ensuring that Traditions are followed.
Voting rights on current issues in CASSO and at area meetings.
Performs the duties of the President in his/her absence.
Desirable skills and experience:
Meticulous and responsible.
Familiar with the traditions.
6 months of other services in CA.
Desirable minimum sober time: 1 year.
Length of service contract: 2 years.
WHAT IS CASSO?
CASSO consists of five people who work together to make CA Sweden area work smoothly. CASSO is responsible for CA Sweden's economy and for organizing area meetings. CASSO also gets input from CA groups and forwards it to delegates or directly to CA world's organization in the United States.
What is an area meeting?
Area meetings are meetings where representatives from different meeting groups and committees, belonging to the same geographical area, meet and discuss overall issues related to CA. CA Sweden is one area.
President Unity
The service assignment involves the following:
To create cohesion within CA in Sweden.
Participate in the annual meetings.
Organize Unity events.
Set up a Unity committee if necessary.
Voting rights at area meetings.
Desirable knowledge and qualities:

Good knowledge of the Traditions.
6 months of active service in CA.
Desirable minimum sober time: 2 years.
Length of service assignment: 2 years.
What is the Unity Committee?
The Unity Committees’ purpose is to enhance our communication and outreach among the diverse elements within the fellowship in the interest of carrying the CA message and to promote CA unity.

You can nominate yourself or another CA member. Please note that you can only nominate ONE person for ONE Service Position at a time. If you wish to nominate a person for several service posts, or several people for one Service Position , please fill in the form again for each nomination.

To help make sure our fellowship can keep growing and continue to carry the message of recovery, CA Sweden has launched a fundraiser for CA World.
This is a time when each group needs to think carefully about how we can be of the greatest possible benefit to society. And also think about CA's reputation and CA as a whole.

A new batch of flyers and business cards has come from the printing house. New – posters in A4 format and stickers!
On Saturday, October 17, CA arranged an event where some members painted the legal graffiti wall in Tantolunden in Stockholm.

We are still looking for a willingness to service for some service positions and are happy and grateful if more people want to participate in the committee! The next meeting of the PI Committee is Wednesday 17 June at 6 pm via Zoom.
